Heart's Ablaze

Poor Charmander. I was initially just going to have him giving his friends a home-made Valentine (You set my heart on FIRE--get it? ) But, for whatever the reason, I decided to kick it up a notch and actually set the heart on fire. I love their faces. Especially Bulbasaur's.

I absolutely adore Pokemon. I grew up with them, played the games, collected the cards, battled with friends, etc. It makes me a little sad that they keep making new generations, but I've got a special place in my heart for the originals (especially these three little tykes here) and I know that I can always go back to them.

On a side note, I finally learned how to make smooth lines! Why oh why did I EVER delay that in the first place, I have no idea, but it's fine because now my art is looking so much better for it. Yay improvement!
